Historic Shiva Dol declared as containment zone by Sivasagar district administration

SIVASAGAR: Amid growing cases of coronavirus, the historic Shiva Dol campus was declared containment zone on Wednesday by the Sivasagar district administration. The move came after a fourth grade employee named Sanjiv Das (30) working in the Shiva Dol campus tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday. Shiva Dol is the first temple in Assam to be declared as COVID-19 containment zone.

Meanwhile, Jamuna Road New Colony, the place where Das' residence is located, has also been declared as containment zone by the administration.
