Idd-uz-Zuha: Iddgah committees, community leaders appealed to avoid mass gatherings

HAILAKANDI: In pursuance of State government's directive, the Hailakandi district administration has allowed inter-district movement of individuals on July 30 and 31. The administration has appealed to the iddgah committees and community leaders to avoid mass gatherings due to COVID-19 pandemic situation on the eve of forthcoming Idd-uz-Zuha to be observed on August 1. While strictly prohibiting the assembling of not more than three persons in the places of worship, the administration urged one and all for observing all COVID-19 protocols to prevent the further spread of the disease. The administration further stated that all religious and political gatherings will continue to remain prohibited until further orders.
