If There Is A Price Rise, Buy Fewer Products And Consume Less: Dispur MLA Atul Bora

The BJP legislator on Friday said that with the rise of prices in commodities people should start consuming less and purchase fewer items.

GUWAHATI: Dispur MLA Atul Bora amuses everyone with a strange remark when it comes to inflation.

Notably this time the MLA asked the citizens to consume less and buy fewer products when the price goes high.

Bora also gives a series of suggestions to the people of the state about how to deal with the current situation of the rise in prices of commodities.

He said that people need to stop consuming vegetables from the market as vendors in different regions are busy selling contaminated vegetables that are harmful to health.

The BJP MLA further claim that he had begun growing crops and vegetables on the premises of his house and stopped buying and consuming such contaminated vegetables from the market.

In his statement on Friday, the legislator mentioned that with the rise of prices in commodities people should start consuming less. 'Citizens must stop consuming the commodity when the price of the same goes high in the market' said Atul Bora

While mentioning the usage of mustard oil, Bora stated that these days he has started to consume less mustard oil than usual and requested people to do the same.

He suggested that people who usually buy two-litre of mustard oil should now decide to buy 1 litre of mustard oil and in the same way, those who used to purchase 1 litre should think of buying just half-litre oil.

He added that this process will be beneficial for people and there is nothing wrong with consuming less oil. By consuming less quantity of oil people will not face any issues with their health said the BJP MLA.

It may be mentioned that this is not the first time that the Dispur MLA Atul Bora came up with such a hilarious remark about commodities and their prices.

Earlier he suggested people for eating boiled food in order to consume less mustard oil and even asked the people to walk to the market instead of travelling in vehicles.
