Boko: Kamrup district administration evicted seven illegal brick kilns at Tarabari village under Boko Police Station on Monday. Officer of the Boko Circle Office, Pinki Dutta led the operation with police, CRPF personnel, and State Fire and Emergency Services personnel. With the help of excavator and water, the team destroyed all the brick kilns in the area. Circle Officer Pinki Dutta said that they had been taking strong action against illegal brick kilns. All illegal brick kilns under Boko revenue circle area would be evicted step-by-step. The value of the illegal brick kilns destroyed was more than Rs 35 lakh.
