DIGBOI: The fraternity of Indian Oil Corporation, Assam Oil Division at Digboi in Tinsukia district observed its annual event, the Indian Oil Day, 2019 with a day-long agenda of various meaningful and significant agenda of activities here in a befitting manner on Sunday.
“The harbinger of our achievements is the dedication and commitment of our people and the unstinted support and well-being of our stakeholders. In this progressive scenario, everyone must be energized to give their best to take forward the momentum for achieving further growth of our country, our corporation and our refinery in the years to come. On this significant day, I wish to compliment each one of you for your dedication and commitment to work,” remarked Sandeep S John ED (AOD-DR), while addressing Indian Oil people at Digboi on the occasion of Indian Oil Day at the historic Golden Jubilee complex, Digboi on Sunday evening.
To mark the day in a meaningful manner, Sandeep S John, the Executive Director of AOD, inaugurated a 1000KwP Solar PV System. The project is an effort of the Power and Utilities Department of Digboi Refinery to achieve sustainability through alternate energy. Another key achievement was the handing over of four ambulances to the nearby Namsai Aspirational District in Arunachal Pradesh attached to IOCL AOD Digboi Refinery.
