'India's Youngest Author' Ayan Gogoi Gohain publishes his second book

Guwahati: At a time when children can barely string two sentences together, Ayan Gogoi Gohain of Assam's North Lakhimpur district has earned the rare distinction of publishing two books. His second book, published recently, is titled 'Bumble Bee'.

As per reports, 'Bumble Bee' has been published by the Madhya Pradesh based publisher, Sankalpa. The book is an anthology of 22 articles written on different subjects.

Son of Jitu Gogoi and Sangeeta Gohain of Lakhimpur, Assam, Ayan Gogoi Gohain penned his first book, 'Honey Comb', when he was barely four years old.

Post-publication, the child prodigy from Assam was hailed across the world for his unquestionable talent.

Several organizations, including Assam's apex literary body Asom Sahitya Sabha bestowed awards on the child prodigy.

The North Lakhimpur son has received the Global Child Prodigy Award, the India Book of Record Award, the Tomorrow India Global Summit Award, the Asom Sahitya Sabha Award, and Srimanta Sankardeva Sangha Award.

As per reports, Ayan Gogoi Gohain penned this book with the help of a special computer app.

'Honey Comb' has been made available for purchase on different websites.

Apart from writing the book, the child writer has a special interest in sketching and drawing.

After the publication of 'Honey Comb', the India Book of Records has bestowed the title of 'Youngest Author in India' on Gohain, a student of St Mary's School in North Lakhimpur.

The book, priced at Rs 250, comprises 30 anecdotes and accompanying illustrations by the toddler.

According to the blurb of the book, the preschooler took to painting at the age of one. By three, Gogoi could "compose stories" all by himself.

He said that his book includes articles on topics like love for nature, the duty of parents towards progeny, among others.
