Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force conducts Tiranga rally in Sonitpur

Sector Headquarters of ITBP and 55th battalion, and Water wing of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Rangamati Camp, Bihaguri in Sonitpur district organized a rally in villages and town of Tezpur on Monday under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence “Har Ghar Tiranga”.

TEZPUR: Sector Headquarters of ITBP and 55th battalion, and Water wing of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Rangamati Camp, Bihaguri in Sonitpur district organized a rally in villages and town of Tezpur on Monday under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence “Har Ghar Tiranga”. On this occasion, ITBP carried tricolor Tiranga from house to house in nearby areas of Tezpur city. The rally was organized under the leadership of Sandeep Khosla, Deputy Inspector General, Sector Headquarters Tezpur.

On this occasion, Vikrant Thapliyal, Commandant, Dr. Deepak Kumar Pandey, Commandant Staff, Subodh Sandilya, commandant (Engineer), K.N. More, commandant water wing and more than 500 people participated including many officers, staff ITBP and children of Higher Secondary School. Villagers including women also participated in it.

The Tricolor Tiranga rally started from the main gate of the ITBP campus and passed through Rangamati, Bihaguri, Kalita gaon , other villages upto Tezpur city. During this program, tricolor flags were also distributed to the local people.
