Interactive session under AROHAN scheme held in Sonitpur

A special interactive session under AROHAN scheme of the Government of Assam was held at the conference hall of the District Commissioner’s office where a total of 111 meritorious students of Class IX from various schools of Sonitpur district took part.

TEZPUR: A special interactive session under AROHAN scheme of the Government of Assam was held at the conference hall of the District Commissioner’s office where a total of 111 meritorious students of Class IX from various schools of Sonitpur district took part. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra. Also present were ADC Kavita Kakoti, Additional SP Shafiqul Hussain, Principal, Darrang College, Dr Palashmoni Saikia and other dignitaries. A brainchild of CM Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, AROHAN is a special Mentor-Mentee programme where meritorious students of various schools across the district were selected for an exposure visit. Earlier in the day, the students visited DRL, Tezpur, Air Force Station, historical Poki, Tezpur Central University and Chitralekha Udyan as part of this exposure visit.
