Isma Ara Begum elected as new Morigaon Zila Parishad chairperson

MORIGAON,: With an aim to develop the Morigaon Zila Parishad, BJP and Congress brought a no-confidence motion against the Congress chairperson of the Zila Parishad on July 10. To fill up the vacant seat of the chairperson, a general meeting was held on Wednesday at the Zila Parishad's conference hall where Isma Ara Bgum was elected as the chairperson through voting held among the 13 members of the ZP. Isma Ara Begum bagged 8 votes out total 13 votes.
