SIVASAGAR: Additional Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar Jabed Arman inaugurated the Comprehensive Cow Development Scheme and Artificial Breeding Training Centre under Assam Livestock Development Authority at Demow on Tuesday. Besides, distribution of sex sorted semen to artificial breeding workers was also inaugurated. This semen gives cow farmers a 90 per cent chance of getting calves.The meeting was attended by Dr Deepak Darabdhara, Joint Director, Upper Assam Division, Dr Amrit Tamuli, District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Officer along with veterinary officers and workers of various areas.
