JAMUGURIHAT: Janbhagidari is an umbrella project undertaken by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to promote and endorse the theme of ensuring ‘Foundation Literacy and Numeracy (FLN)’ in the context of blended learning.
Through this mega project, the Central Government aims to create awareness and generate a sense of pride among various stakeholders like students, teachers, parents and people in general about G 20, NEP 2020 and FLN. The mega project also targets in teaching children of class I to III through playway method. It gives emphasis on learning mathematics and language through plays. The foundation and functional course of mathematics and language has to be achieved by the present students of class I to III by 2026-27.
The Janbhagidari programme was held at Naduar on Thursday like other parts of the State and the nation as well. The awareness programme convened by Naduar Elementary Education Block, Jamugurihat was attended by Ramen Medhi, district programme officer, Rina Medhi Dutta, district academic advisor, Peter Choudhuri, Naduar BEEO as resource persons. The programme was assisted by 10 CRCCs of the education block. The programme began on June 1 and will continue till June 15, informed Hiren Nath, CRCC, Naduar Education Block.
