Justice sought for Dimasa National Liberation Army cadres

Demanding immediate enquiry and proper justice in the firing and killing of a Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) cadre, Kharmindao Dimasa, chairman, DPSC/DNLA, wrote a letter to the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Special Branch, Assam, on Friday.

HAFLONG: Demanding immediate enquiry and proper justice in the firing and killing of a Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) cadre, Kharmindao Dimasa, chairman, DPSC/DNLA, wrote a letter to the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Special Branch, Assam, on Friday.

In the letter, the DNLA chairman stated that Mahidul Jammal, the in-charge of Maibang Police Station, fired illegally at DNLA cadres at 1 am on Friday. One DNLA cadre named Bibojit Hafila alias Ali Dimasa died and three other cadres were injured in the police firing. He requested the ADGP, Special Branch, to inquire into the case properly. He added that they wanted justice for the DNLA cadres.
