KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang meets Education Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya

Diphu: KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang, led along with Horensing Bey MP, Mongolsing Timung EM, Jagat Sing Engti EM i/c Higher Education, with Bijoy Bey president Karbi Students’ Association, Urli Rongpi Office Secy KSA, Sarim Tokbi, president KSU, Richard Ingti general Secretary KSU, Prakash Terang president KSYC, Bipul Tisso general secretary KSYC, Tingku Engti President KFA met Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Education Minister of Assam and submitted a memorandum to discuss the following salient points to conduct separate TET under the jurisdiction of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council to meet the Teacher’s gap as per RTE 2009 in the Elementary Level and also shortage of Teachers at Secondary level. Conducting special TET Examination for ST( H) candidates for filling up of all ST( H) backlogs posts in Assam.

Conducting Karbi Medium TET for appointment of teachers in Karbi medium schools, creation and regularization of existing 484 Karbi languages teachers for ME and High Schools under the jurisdiction of KAAC, setting up of seperate TET Evaluation Zone at Diphu. After a threadbare discussion, Hon’ble Minister kept his words after patiently listening to their grievances assured to extend co-operation in all possible matters for the greater interest of the people of Karbi Anglong sources added.
