Kaziranga National Park Observes 64th Wildlife Week

Kaziranga: Along with the rest of the country, Kaziranga National Park is observing the 64th Wildlife Week with the theme ‘Elephant Day’ from October 2 to October 8. The aim of the celebration is to create mass awareness towards the man-elephant conflict and preservation of flora and fauna. The programme started at Mihimukh, central range of Kohora. The welcome speech was given Dr. Navin Pandey, director of Corbett Foundation, Kaziranga, in presence of higher officials of Kaziranga National Park and school students of Kaziranga area. Research officers of KNP spoke about the man-elephant conflict.
