NAGAON: To celebrate the 'Kishan Bhandari, Prathamikata Hamari' under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nagaon organized a day-long programme at its office premises near Shilongani in Nagaon town on Tuesday. The programme was initiated with lighting the ceremonial lamp and felicitation of all dignitaries. Dr N Deka, principal scientist and head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nagaon welcomed the guests and other dignitaries and elaborated about the flagship initiatives of the Government of India in the agricultural sector. While addressing the occasion, Dr Deka urged all to avail the benefits of those governmental initiatives being implemented by the same.
