Guwahati: Assamese singing sensation Zubeen Garg remembered his friend and one of Bollywood's finest singers Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK in his sudden demise.

He urged the organizers of musical shows to be responsible and be fully prepared to hold events on a large scale. Zubeen said that the organizers should ensure that adequate facilities are provided to the performers and the artists should not be deprived of anything.

Notably, Zubeen Garg sang around three songs alongside KK and he confessed that he was very close to KK and added that the two of them shared a good bond with each other. Garg also revealed that KK was supposed to visit Assam later this year to attend his birthday in November.

"The way people are mentioning about the faults of the organizers in Kolkata, I must say that event groups must take care of artists. I have also encountered similar situations where ACs don't work inside an auditorium. Such negligence may cost a lot," Zubeen said.

"It's a great loss not only for the music industry but for the country. KK is loved by millions and he will be missed forever," he added.

Zubeen went on to say that he performed together with KK in his first international show in Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, Kolkata police have registered a case of unnatural death over the sudden demise of KK, who allegedly passed away due to the negligence of the event organizers that ultimately culminated in the deterioration of his health condition.

The 54-year-old singer suddenly fell ill while performing at a live concert in Kolkata and was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
