DHUBRI: After 'Sharad-Argha' programme performed by the family members of the Kolkata- Dhubri Sammilani in virtual mode, Bijoya and Deepawali -Cultural Programme will be held in the same format and mode on November 21 and November 22.
The first version of Sharad-Argha was inaugurated on September 17 on the auspicious day of Mahalaya and the sixth version of the same concluded on October 17 on the another auspicious day of Navratri.
There were plans to organize a similar kind of programme on the auspicious occasion of Bijoya Sammilani. In this regard, the president of the Sammilani had received a proposal from the convener of the cultural sub-committee to organize a Bijoya and Deepawali - Cultural Programme through virtual mode on November 21 and November 22.
In order to conduct the programme, the Sammilani contacted Sauvanik Dutta, an internationally acclaimed singer and composer and also a member of the Sammilani family, to extend all possible help and co-operation as he had done during the Sharad-Argha programme. Talking to The Sentinel, president of the Sammilani, Dr. Sanat Kumar Saha said, "I hope that with the participation of member artists, this Bijoya and Deepawali -Cultural Programme will be a grand success."
