Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dibrugarh conducted a programme on ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’

DIBRUGARH: Krishi Vigyan Kendra located at Kordoibam of Lahoal Development of the Dibrugarh district successfully conducted a series of programmes as part of the Government of India’s clarion call for the campaign ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’, which is envisaged as a culminating event of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav’ across the district.

The programme covered a host of important activities like Panch Pran Pledge, awareness programme, planting sapling, paying tribute to all veers who made supreme sacrifice for our country, felicitating freedom fighters and families of deceased freedom fighters. The programme, which was directed by senior scientist and head Dr Diganta Sharmah, was supervised by the KVK officials.

Altogether 500 participants of 21 different locations of the district covering village, gaon panchayat, schools, clubs took part in the programme successfully.
