Lakhimpur district convener committee of Jatiya Yuva Shakti constituted

The Lakhimpur district convener committee of Jatiya Yuva Shakti (JYS), the brother organization of Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) was constituted on Sunday.

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district convener committee of Jatiya Yuva Shakti (JYS), the brother organization of Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) was constituted on Sunday.

On this occasion, an organizational meeting was organized in the auditorium of Lakhimpur District Library in the presence of over 200 delegates coming from various places under the district. The meeting began with a Borgeet presented by the students of LakhimpurSangeetMahavidyalaya in chorus. The meeting commenced with ChittaRanjanBasumatari, the State convener of AJP, in the chair. Taking part in the programme, State chief convener of AJP HarenChutiya, JYS chief convener NibhaDutta, JYS assistant in-charge Abhijit Kamal Bhuyan, Lakhimpur district AJP chief convener SurajitBhuyan delivered speech highlighting the aims and objectives and ideologies of the organization.

In the same event, the 101-membered Lakhimpur district convener committee of JYS was constituted with Papu Das, KalyanGogoi, GairangajitDutta, Alvis John Kashyap, RupjyotiSaikia, IftikarRahman, MouchumiPathak and SanjibGogoi as chief conveners. The constituency committees and other grassroot-level committees of the organization will be formed shortly. Lakhimpur district AJP chief conveners DayanandaGoswami, Mahesh Mahanta, convener AjitBurhagohain along with a galaxy of prominent personalities of the district also took part in the meeting.
