Land pattas distributed to a total of 372 landless indigenous families

JAMUGURIHAT: A total of 372 landless indigenous families of both Biswanath and Sootea LAC under the jurisdiction of Naduar revenue circle Sootea, were handed over land pattas by Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika and Biswanath MLA Pramud Borthakur in a meeting held at the office premises of Naduar revenue circle office, Sootea on Wednesday. The patta distribution ceremony was graced by Naduar revenue circle officer Akashdeep Kakoty, Lakhi Kanta Bora, president of Sootea Anchalik Panchayat, and other dignitaries.
