MORIGAON: In a major breakthrough, a ‘Lat Mandal’ of Morigaon Circle Office was arrested by sleuths of CM’s Vigilance & Anti-Corruption team on charges of bribery on Monday. ‘Lat Mandal’ Nabajyoti Nath was arrested while he was taking bribe from one Ayub Ali at the premises of the Circle Office, Morigaon. According to information, Nabajyoti Nath demanded Rs 75,000 first and later Rs 30,000 under mutual understanding. On Monday, the complainant Ayub Ali came to offer Rs. 15,000 at Morigaon Circle Office. The sleuths of the CM’s Vigilance & Ant-Corruption caught him red-handed.
