Leaders hail Bhoomi pujan of Ram Temple in Ayodhya

KOKRAJHAR: Many people have welcomed the Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya and hoped that it would bring peace and universal brotherhood.

Former Rajya Sabha MP Urkhao Gwra Brahma said except few leaders, almost all Indian intelligentsia, activists and common masses from different religious groups had accepted the verdict passed by the Supreme Court of India in regard to construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He said, "If new era has really begun, let the new India grow and develop in days to come without religious conflict. As an ordinary citizen of India, I just expect Ram Temple to be a centre of building peace and universal brotherhood among all sections of people."

Vice-president of UPPL, Rwngwra Narzary said the bhoomi pujan for construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya was a welcome move and a symbol of unity and integrity. He said India was a country of diverse faiths and religions and each faith should be equally respected. He hoped that there would be no religious intolerance and the country would maintain secularism.

A minority leader of Kokrajhar, Moinul Hoque said the bhoomi pujan for construction of Ram Temple was a significant move for the unity and integrity of the country. He hoped that India would respect all faiths and religions.
