Lecture on breast cancer delivered at Doomdooma Sakha Xahitya Xabha Bhaban

Dr Jayeeta Talukdar, who did her Ph.D on Oral Cancer from IIT Guwahati and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), New Delhi, delivered a lecture on 'Breast Cancer'

DOOMDOOMA: Dr Jayeeta Talukdar, who did her Ph.D on Oral Cancer from IIT Guwahati and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), New Delhi, delivered a lecture on 'Breast Cancer' at Doomdooma Sakha Xahitya Xabha (DSXX) Bhaban as part of an awareness programme on the subject. The meeting was chaired by president of DSXX, Bimala Baruah and was anchored by secretary Deben Deka. In the beginning, Dr Talukdar was felicitated by the president of DSXX.

Dr Talukdar in her speech spoke about various symptoms of the disease and its preventive measures. She revealed that Assam recorded the highest number of breast cancer incidences in the country.
