HAFLONG: Denizens of Maibang, the ancient capital city of Dimasa kingdom reiterated their demand for a foot over- bridge at Maibang Railway Station considering the safety of people living at both sides of the railway station.
Frontal students' organisation like All Dimasa Students' Union along with all the conscious people had been demanding a foot over bridge at Maibang. During the last few years, several people lost their lives in run-over accidents while crossing the railway track as there is no foot overbridge at Maibang.
Appreciating the railway authority for the introduction of Vistadom tourists special, conscious people argued if railway authority can introduce tourists special for the promotion of tourism in Dima Hasao then why not a foot
overbridge at Maibang considering the safety, security of the people as safety, security and punctuality are the prime mottoes of N F Railway.
