Moran/Demow: In a shocking incident, a notorious father allegedly impregnates his 12-year-old daughter in Dheudhai Bengali village under Moran Police Station of Dibrugarh District and escaped soon after the matter came to light on last Sunday.
What is more shocking into the incident is that the minor girl has been constantly threatened by the accused father and her mother Sagarika Devi (name changed) throughout the ordeal, as a result of which she didn’t even reveal her harrowing experience to anyone in the family.
It is to be noted that Ratan Lal (name changed) had six sons and one daughter and as per sources, Ratan Lal (name changed) was involved in this heinous activity for the past 6 months supported by his wife Sagarika Devi (name changed).
Following the incident, the girl got pregnant and is now on the brink of giving birth to a child.
Soon after the matter got highlighted amongst the local people in the village, a section of Women took the victim girl to Moran Police Station in connection to the case; however, she didn’t reveal anything.
Interestingly, on Monday evening, the victim girl shared her horrifying experiences before the villagers.
Villagers later took the charge of the matter and beat up the lady and decided to boycott both the accused father and mother of the victim girl.
A case was also registered by the victim girl’s brother at Moran Police Station.
