Man goes missing from Rangia Railway Station

TANGLA: In an unfortunate incident, an inhabitant of Kalbari village near Naokata of Baksa district, Haren Rajbongshi (47) went missing after he boarded a Maharashtra-bound train from Rangia Railway Station on July 27.

According to his family members, six persons of Kalbari village, including Haren Rajbongshi, were allegedly lured by one Rubul Ali who promised them jobs in a company in Maharashtra and accordingly, all of them boarded the Lokmanya Express from Rangia Station on July 27. However, all of them were seated in different coaches of the train.

Haren's friends have claimed that he has been missing since July 29 when their train reached between Thane and Kudal Railway Stations of Maharashtra. The friends, along with Rubul Ali, have informed the Railway Police in this regard but police have not been able to locate the whereabouts of Haren Rajbongshi. His family members filed a missing complaint with Goreswar Police of Baksa district on Tuesday.
