TINSUKIA: The Mass Drug Administration (MDA) for Filariasis in Tinsukia district was formally launched by Sanjoy Kishan Minister for Labour Welfare Department & Tea Tribes at ASHA Bhawan Tinsukia on Thursday.
Organized by the District Health Society (NVBDCP) Tinsukia, the programme was attended by Dr Jayanta Bhattacharjee, Joint DHS, Dr Bornali Dutta Borah SDMO (Hq), Dr Mridul Gogoi Superintendent GNB Civil Hospital, Chinmoy Pathak ADC (Health), besides a large number of ASHA workers and health staff.
The programme also witnessed ceremonial drug distribution by the chief guest Sanjoy Kishan to the beneficiaries from different tea gardens.
