GAURISAGAR: Mayurakshi Dutta, a brilliant girl of Hatighuli village on the outskirts of Gaurisagar in Sivasagar district and the daughter of Bhadreswar Dutta, former teacher of Silpukhuri High School, brought laurels to the greater Hatighuli area by clearing the Combined Competitive Examination of 2018 conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC), result of which was declared recently.

Mayurakshi is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Rahman Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (RIPSR), Guwahati. She secured 91st position in OBC category and will serve as a junior ACS officer. Various organizations of greater Hatighuli and Gaurisagar area congratulated her. Local people took out a procession to felicitate her. The Jhanji HS School fraternity felicitated Mayurakhi on Tuesday.

On the other hand, Iva Rani Hazarika, a resident of Dikhowmukh Teliadunga village in Dikhowmukh area on the outskirts of Gaurisagar and the daughter of Dilip Hazarika, a prominent businessman, and teacher Dipali Hazarika, brought laurels to greater Dikhowmukh area by clearing the Combined Competitive Examination of 2018 conducted by APSC.

Iva Rani is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology in Joya Gogoi College, Khumati, Golaghat. Various organizations congratulated her. The Khanakhokora High School fraternity felicitated Iva Rani and her parents. Iva Rani will serve as an Inspector of Tax.
