GOSSAIGAON: A medical camp, a veterinary camp and a plantation drive was organized by 31 Bn Sashastra Seema Bal Gossaigaon at Rampur village near Nabinagar under Kachhugaon block in Kokrajhar district.
Sh Chiranjib Bhattacharjee (Commandant), Dr. TT Hatzaw, CMO (NFSG) 31 Battalion SSB, Gossaigaon, Dr. Navenjyoti Sharma (MO MBBS) CHC Kachugaon, Dr Jaynta Deori (Comdt Vety. ) of SHQ Bongaigaon, Sh. L.M.Singh (SVO/SG) of 06 Bn Raniguli and along with other officials of 31 Bn and beneficiaries of the villages participated in the programme.
Free medical tests and medicines were provided to more than 205 people as well as free medical tests and medicines were provided to more than 733 animals. On this occasion Sh. Chiranjib Bhattacharjee 31 Bn Sashastra Seema Bal apprised the villagers present there about the welfare schemes for public by the Central and State governments.
