Medical camp under Swasthya Sewa Abhiyan held in Tinsukia

A special medical camp under Swasthya Sewa Abhiyan was held on Monday at the hospital premises of Bahadur Tea garden hospital under Hapjn Block PHC in Tinsukia.

TINSUKIA: A special medical camp under Swasthya Sewa Abhiyan was held on Monday at the hospital premises of Bahadur Tea garden hospital under Hapjn Block PHC in Tinsukia. The camp was formally inaugurated by Dr Bornali Borah Medical Officer In-charge of Mohkhuli Model Hospital in presence of senior health officials from district and block level of Tinsukia district. Approximately 354 out of which 25 were pregnant women and 80 children from which 7 were identified as severely acute malnourished children who were screened and treated for different ailments.

Specialist doctors like gynaecologists, paediatricians, medicine, eye, etc participated in the camp. Mobile medical unit and sanjeevani outreach unit were also present in the camp especially for diagnosis purpose. Health Officials from different umbrella programmes such as Leprosy and TB eradication and mental health programme also participated in the camp.
