SIVASAGAR: With a view to discuss the framework for celebration of Gunotsav-2022, a meeting was held at the Syukafa conference hall of the DC's Office, Sivasagar on Thursday.
Presiding over the meeting, Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Megha Nidhi Dahal called upon all to provide training to the officers involved in the evaluation process, to decorate the schools, to ensure 100 per cent attendance of the students. He also asked all the officers involved in the evaluation process to evaluate the schools accurately and smoothly. Kamal Jyoti Gogoi, Inspector of Schools, briefed how to conduct evaluation of teachers, including academic evaluation, along with the guidelines framed by Sarba Siksha.
About 950 primary schools, 179 upper primary schools and 154 high upper primary schools of the district will be assessed on Gunotsav. The assessment will be conducted in three phases in 1,323 Assamese medium schools and five Hindi medium schools in the district. The assessment process will be conducted in 453 schools in the first phase, 453 schools in the second phase and 422 schools in the third phase with 1,345 external evaluators and 132 liaison officers. Kamal Jyoti Gogoi also said that the Gunotsav-2022 is likely to be held in the district from April 2.
