Meritorious students felicitated at Goreswar in Baksa district

All together 16 students were felicitated in a meet held at Bhogpur ME Madrassa on Saturday near Goreswar

GORESWAR: All together 16 students were felicitated in a meet held at Bhogpur ME Madrassa on Saturday near Goreswar in Baksa district.

The felicitation programme was organized by maintaining social distances due to coronavirus by Goreswar unit of North East Minorities Students Union (NEMSU) and the students who secured 1st division in HSLC and HS examinations 2020. The meritorious students were felicitated with phoolam gamucha, Manpatra and a mask each in the programme.

The meet was presided by Sadnur Hazarika and Badrul Islam. The central president of NEMSU in his speech said that poverty cannot be the obstacle in education so the students should move forward. Success will come automatically and if any problems arise then the NEMSU must help. So, no need to worry, go ahead, he said. Dr. Jeherul Islam, professor of Goreswar college, Sahabuddin Ahmed Member of SB in BTC, Mafidul Haque head master of Goreswar Girls High School, Saifuddin Ali Ahmed and many others took part in the programme.
