LAKHIMPUR: Global Institute of Information Technology (GIIT), which has been conducting quality training on computer education in Dhakuakhana since 2009, feted 41 meritorious trainees of the institution on Tuesday. These trainees have passed the first semester examinations of the PGDCA and ADCA courses provided by the institution in 2021-22 sessions with flying colours.
In this connection, a ceremonial programme was organized at the Dhakuakhana Dharamshala premises under the management of coordinator Tutul Prashad. The programme was inaugurated by academician-cum-Dhakuakhana unit Senior Citizens' Association secretary Digendranath Hazarika. Assistant Professor of Harhi College, Dr. Jitu Kumar Chamua and Dhakuakhana Press Guild secretary Rajib Baruah attended the programme as invited guests and delivered encouraging lectures. In the programme, the first five toppers of the trainees, Aradhya Goswami (92%), Monalisa Baruah (91%), Tulika Hazarika (90%), Janmoni Doley (84%) and Sujani Das (81%) were conferred special awards by the institution. The former four trainees have achieved success in the PGDCA course while the latter has scored the mark in ADCA course.
