Minister Bimal Bora visits Tamulpur, reviews ongoing projects

BAKSA: State Power, Sports and Youth Welfare, Culture and Tourism Minister Bimal Bora visits Tamulpur Subdivision of Baksa district on Tuesday evening on the way to Bongaigaon to attend the cabinet meeting which was held on Wednesday.

The minister attended a review meeting at the office of the SDO Civil where he reviewed various undergoing projects under various departments, namely Jal Jeevan Mission under Public Health Engineering department, Anganwari Kendra under Child Development Project, activities of Health, Education, Veterinary, PWD, Food and Civil Supply and Consumer Affairs department, APDCL.

In the meeting, along with the minister, MLA of Tamulpur constituency, Jalen Doimary, MCLA Hemanta Kumar Rabha and officers of several departments were present. The minister asked officials to complete their projects within the stipulated time.

After the meeting, the minister visited an Anganwadi centre and Subdivisional office near Borkhopa, an ongoing Jal Jeevan Mission project at Devinagar near Kumarikata where he interacted with some of beneficiaries.
