Minister Parimal Suklabaidya inaugurates 17th Sahitya Manishi Upaban at Baghmara

Guwahati: Assam Minister for Environment and Forest, Parimal Suklabaidya inaugurated the 17th 'Sahitya Manishi Upaban' of Assam at Baitamari, Baghmara on Saturday.

The minister has shared the pictures of the inauguration on his Twitter account. Suklabaidya said that the state's biodiversity is witnessing the greatest revival of all times under the Chief Minister Sarbananada Sonowal led government.

He tweeted, "Delighted to have inaugurated the 17th 'Sahitya Manishi Upaban' of Assam today at Baitamari,Baghmara. Assam's biodiversity is witnessing the greatest revival of all times under the present regime of HCM Shri @sarbanandsonwal led government."

Speaking about the biodiversity revival, Suklabaidya also shared that they have initiated the process for approving the proposal for the sixth National Park of Assam, the 'Raimona National Park'. The map of the proposed national park was unveiled by the minister on Saturday. The upcoming park is located near the Mathanguri, Manas National Park.

"Another success feather is adding to the biodiversity cap of Assam soon as we have initiated the process for approving the proposal for the 6th National Park of Assam the 'Raimona National Park'. Today unveiled the map of this upcoming park at Mathanguri,Manas National Park," tweeted Suklabaidya.
