Minister Pijush Hazarika laid foundation stone of Anganwadi centres at Jagiroad

Local MLA and State Water Resource Minister Pijush Hazarika on Tuesday laid the foundation stones of six Anganwadi centres at Jagiroad.

JAGIROAD: Local MLA and State Water Resource Minister Pijush Hazarika on Tuesday laid the foundation stones of six Anganwadi centres at Jagiroad.

Amongst these, the Nakhola primary school Anganwadi centre is a model centre. Hazarika, while laying the foundation stone of Nakhola model Anganwadi centre, expressed satisfaction and said that such projects would boost the physical and mental health of the children. The estimated project cost of a model anganwadi centre is Rs 25 lakh, said the minister.

The ceremony was attended by Jagiroad mandal BJP president Prabin Deka, Jagiroad Development Authority chairman Dibyajit Neog, Tiwa Autonomous Council member Khagen Das, among others.
