Minister Piyush Hazarika laid foundation stones of PMAY houses in Morigaon

MORIGAON: Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Piyush Hazarika on Friday laid the foundation stone of PMAY houses at Morigaon Bihutoli. The minister said that total 2,511 beneficiaries would get PMAY houses in two phases in the urban area of the district. Each beneficiary will receive Rs 2,00,000 for building PMAY house, he added.

The minister also said that altogether 2 lakh youths would get Rs 50,000 each as one-time assistance for their livelihood. The minister asked the Deputy Commissioner to prepare a list of 15,000 poor beneficiaries in the district so that they could avail Rs 10,000 yearly assistance.
