Minister Sanjoy Kishan takes stock of COVID-19 preparedness in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: Minister for Tea Tribe Welfare and Labour Sanjoy Kishan chaired a meeting on COVID-19 preparedness in the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia on Thursday.

As in-charge minister of COVID-19 for Tinsukia and Dibrugarh districts, Kishan reviewed all the parameters related to the pandemic. The meeting was attended by MLAs of Chabua, Digboi and Doomdooma, besides Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Tinsukia, Civil SDOs of Sadiya and Margherita, CEO ZP Tinsukia, ADC Health, DDC Tinsukia among others.

He took note of on-going health activities, oxygen facility, vaccination status, testing status and home isolation. The discussion also figured about implementation of COVID-19 protocol, including night curfew and availability of food stock in Tinsukia district.
