DIBRUGARH: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by a person in Duliajan in the Dibrugarh district. The girl has been identified as Jolly Agarwal of Duliajan. The person who allegedly kidnapped the minor girl has been identified as Jahidul Ali. A missing complaint was filed by the girl's father in Duliajan Police station on January 1.

"My daughter Jolly Agarwal went to Gogoi market for tuition at about 6 pm on December 31, but she didn't return. She didn't respond to our phone calls. Her mobile phone rang two times but she did not pick," Bharat Agarwal, father of the girl, stated in the FIR.

Bharat Agarwal alleged that Jahidul Ali had kidnapped his daughter as he was also missing since that day. But Bharat Agarwal has not mentioned Jahidul Ali's name in the FIR. "We are investigating the matter and a police team has been formed for the search operation," Chetia said.
