MLA Naba Kumar Doley inaugurated implementation of three schemes in Dhakuakhana

Former Minister for Panchayat & Rural Development Department-cum-existing Dhakuakhana MLA Naba Kumar Doley inaugurated the implementation of three developmental schemes under Dhakuakhana Nagar Samiti area on Monday.

LAKHIMPUR: Former Minister for Panchayat & Rural Development Department-cum-existing Dhakuakhana MLA Naba Kumar Doley inaugurated the implementation of three developmental schemes under Dhakuakhana Nagar Samiti area on Monday. At first the MLA laid the foundation stone for the Solid Waste Management Project at the dumping ground of Dhakuakhana town located at Bongola Chapori.

The project will be implemented with the investment of a package allotted under untied fund. Then the MLA laid the foundation stone for the implementation of pure drinking water bottling and drum packaging project to be operated by Dhakuakhana Nagar Samiti at Ward No. 7 near Gandhi Maidan. He also inaugurated the construction of a deplorable road from Kasu Kaibarta Path to Manikasuk via Saurukiya. Dhakuakhana SDO (Civil) Gurnel Singh, Lakhimpur Zila Parishad chairperson Manju Borgohain, Dhakuakhana district unit BJP president Pradip Chamuah, several senior citizens of Dhakuakhana attended the ceremonial programmes organized on the occasions. In his lecture, Naba Kumar Doley appealed to the people of Dhakuakhana town to extend cooperation with regard to ensuring systematic development in the town. Further the MLA took stock of the situation at the place under the town near Baligaon namghar premises in order to implement measures for the resolution of logging water problem there.
