KALAIGAON: The Parivartankami Brahman Samaj in a press release on Tuesday condemned the alleged remarks of Ramakanta Deuri against the Brahmin community.
Morigaon MLA Ramakata Deuri visited Solmari in Tiwa Autonomous Council recently and thereafter he took part in an open meeting there. After that, MLA Deuri addressed the local people gathered at the open meeting and allegedly made a controversial remark about the Brahmin community.
Dr. Pulin Sarma, executive president of Parivartnkami Brahman Samaj, urged that Ramakanta Deuri should be expelled from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for allegedly making 'communal and provocative' comments about the Brahmin community or they would not support the BJP in the upcoming assembly poll.
