Doomdooma: Doomdooma Press Club (DPC) felicitated Doomdooma MLA Rupesh Gowala at his residence on Wednesday evening. A DPC delegation led by its president Anuj Kalita and secretary Manoj Baruah visited the residence of the MLA and felicitated him with a phulam gamosa, a memento, a gift and a copy of the latest edition of DPC magazine 'Pubali'. It can be mentioned here that the MLA was invited to the open session of the 15th biennial conference of DPC held on July 17, but he could not attend the meeting as he had gone to Guwahati to cast his vote for the Presidential election. So, he was felicitated at his residence yesterday. The MLA Rupesh Gowala also felicitated the newly elected president and the secretary of DPC, Anuj Kalita and Manoj Baruah respectively with a phulam gamosa to each of them and had an interaction with the delegation on various aspects of the development of Doomdooma.
