Mouzadars hold discussion with Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal

Office bearers of All Assam Mouzadar Sanmilan (AAMS) met Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at the DC's conference room on Monday and discussed with him their grievances.

DIBRUGARH: Office bearers of All Assam Mouzadar Sanmilan (AAMS) met Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at the DC's conference room on Monday and discussed with him their grievances.

AAMS officials, during discussion, told Chief Minister Sonowal that to increase the State's revenue, there was necessity for re-survey and classification of land and fixation of new revenue levy. The office bearers of AAMS also highlighted the necessity of upgrading the infrastructure of mouzadars' offices, increasing the amount of monthly government subsidies and to provide medical facility to them. Chief Minister Sonowal assured to take adequate steps for early solution of mouzadars' problems and grievances. Sonowal also held meeting with Tinsukia Deputy Commissioner Diganta Saikia, Superintendent of Police of Tinsukia, Siladitya Chetia, forest officials along with the representatives of TMPK and discussed the issue of rehabilitation of the residents of Dadhia and Laika.

The meeting was attended, amongst others, by Union Minister of State (Ind) for Food Processing and Industries, Rameswar Teli , Minister of State (Ind), Tea Tribes Welfare Department, Government of Assam, Sanjay Kishan.
