NCC cadets receive a warm welcome at Dibrugarh railway station

Dibrugarh: The NCC cadets of the north-eastern region received a grand welcome at Dibrugarh railway station, by NCC Group Headquarters Dibrugarh, on their return from New Delhi after participating in the Republic Day parade where they put up a sterling performance. They were received by Colonel Raja Maji, the Officiating Group Commander of Dibrugarh Group, along with Colonel R Ramesh, the CO of 10 Assam Bn NCC, Dibrugarh, with other army personnel.

Major General Ananta Bhuyan, Sena Medal, the Additional Director General of the North Eastern Region, NCC Directorate, Shillong, conveyed his appreciation and congratulations to all the members of the team for their performance at the 72nd Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi. The contingent under the leadership of Colonel RK Singh, put up a stellar performance and bagged the fourth position amongst 16 contingents, adding a new chapter in the ever improving saga of the NCC Cadets from the north-eastern region.
