New ITI to established in Sootea; new session will start from January, 2021

With timely initiative taken by Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika, a new ITI will be established in Sootea.

JAMUGURIHAT: With timely initiative taken by Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika, a new ITI will be established in Sootea. Classes for the new session (2021) will start from January.

In the initial stage, only a diploma course for computer education will be offered by the ITI. Interested candidates can obtain admission forms from ITI Sootea and ITI Tezpur. The last date for collection of forms is December 28 and the last date for form submission is December 29. The admission process will be done in the first week of January, 2021.

Notably, there are few institutions of technical education in Sootea, Jamuguri and Biswanath area. The land for the ITI building has been already allotted and the construction work for the technical institution is on. The classes for the said course will be carried out in Sootea Girls' MV School till completion of the new building. People of greater Sootea area have thanked local MLA Padma Hazarika for playing a pivotal role in the establishment of ITI at Sootea.
