Newborn baby girl recovered lying beside a road in Tamulpur

Sensation prevails in entire Tamulpur subdivision after a newborn baby (girl), without any cloth, was recovered lying beside a road at Tamulpur in Baksa district on Saturday evening.

BAKSA: Sensation prevails in entire Tamulpur subdivision after a newborn baby (girl), without any cloth, was recovered lying beside a road at Tamulpur in Baksa district on Saturday evening. The new born baby was reportedly rescued from a place in front of the Kali temple in Dighilipar Village, about 500 metres away from Tamulpur Community Health Centre.

The newborn baby was recovered by a young man as he was walking on the Tamulpur-Rangia-Bhutan International link road. He heard the child's cry and following the sound, he found the baby lying on the ground at around 7 pm. The youth immediately admitted the child in the Tamulpur Primary Health Centre, where the child is being presently treated. The hospital authorities have already contacted the Child Line.
