HAFLONG: Following information received from DSCR / LMG regarding some unclaimed packets in coach no S1 fitted inside the roof near the upper berth No 41 of train No 13174 up Kanchajagha Express, RPF and GRP officers recovered 9 packets of suspected cannabis (ganja) at New Haflong Station on Tuesday. Recovered suspected cannabis were seized in presence of available witnesses. No individual was apprehended since the packets were unclaimed. Value of seized suspected Cannabis is Rs 1, 49,500/- approx. It is learnt that the seized ganja would be handed over to GRP / NHLG for further legal action.
