Nonagenarian Samarendra Kumar Dutta dies in Rangia

Samarendra Kumar Dutta, a nonagenarian and regarded as patriarch in Rangia, died at his residence at Jyoti Nagar on Tuesday.

RANGIA: Samarendra Kumar Dutta, a nonagenarian and regarded as patriarch in Rangia, died at his residence at Jyoti Nagar on Tuesday. He was 95, when he took his last breath. Popularly known as Kokain his area, late SamarendraDutta was associated with several socio-cultural organizations and led a very active life till his death. He was also a railway employee and rendered his service at several places of the state during his professional career. He left behind three sons, four daughters, host of relatives and well-wishers. A pall of gloom descended in the area following his death. His adyashraddha will be conducted on November 8.
