KOKRAJHAR: NTPC Bongaigaon, in association with CISF, NTPC unit, on Tuesday kick-started a training programme to identify and coach eligible candidates for applying for the post of constable (GD) in CAPFS, NIA, SSF and AR. The Executive Director, NTPC, Bongaigaon, Chandan Chakraborty inaugurated the programme and addressed the gathering. He stated that this initiative by the NTPC, Bongaigaon in association with CISF would be beneficial for the local youths to prepare for applying for the post of Constable (GD).
A total of 277 candidates registered out of which 24 were girls. Initial screening of height and weight was done for the registered candidates and the physical training/classroom coaching will start after Independence Day in batch of 50 candidates each. Commandant of CISF HS Brahma and GM (FM) T. Ravinder were also present on the occasion.
