Bharalu Deka (48) passed away on Monday night at his residence at Satabori village under Jagiroad Police Station. He was the advisor of Gyanjoti Sangha of Jagibhakat gaon. He was suffering from high fever for the last couple of days. He left behind his wife and a son. His premature demise was deeply mourned by the president and secretary of Gyanjoti Sangha. Officials of Jagibhakat gaon Sahitya Sabha also expressed deep sorrow over the death of the popular social activist.
